Same-Day Courier vs Posting a Parcel

When you need something delivered today, it's tempting to compare courier prices to the cost of a stamp or a parcel locker drop-off. But a dedicated same-day courierand standard post aren't the same service, and understanding the difference explains the price gap.

Direct, not shared

When you post a parcel, it typically passes through several depots and gets grouped with hundreds of other deliveries before reaching its destination, often taking a day or more. A dedicated courier collects your consignment and takes it straight to its destination, with no stops, no sorting hubs, and no sharing space with other people's deliveries.

Speed you can rely on

At Rapide Logistics, we aim to collect within the hour of booking and deliver directly the same day. That's not a best-efforts promise — it's how the same-day courier service is built to work. For tighter deadlines, see our urgent courier London options.
